HYMENOPTERA, Stenotritidae (Apoidea) -- <Images> & <Juveniles> Description
The glossa in this family is blunt and round. There is no apical protrusion (Finnamore
& Michener 1993). The family is
found only in Australia where there are two genera of large, hairy bees that
